Let me show you a good time

I've been far far far too lazy recently and nowhere got back to me for a job yet but I still have my fingers crossed that they will.
I dropped off my £100 deposit for my house yesterday so I'm excited :) and yet a little nervous because Student Finance haven't bothered to get back to me yet and my rent will be due on the 1st of September eeek ... I best get it by then!

My plan was to go to the library today and get out these books:

Make & Mend Books

Make Do and Mend : Keeping Family and Home Afloat on War Rations

I decided that if I was serious about putting a routine together and doing a burlesque show in November for Rachel [Kitty O'Shea] then I want to know as much behind Burlesque as I can, not just the things I know and have picked up but in a lot of detail so I need to start researching, reading and studying as well as putting a costume together which I've designed it's the money side you know buying things / customising things you need money for that.
The song I did want to use was Big Spender by Peggy Lee but Thomas thinks thats too cliche but as I can't find anything else at the moment I'm sticking to that though there are a few burlesque CD's you can rent from the library so I may pick up them when I get to go. The library never fails to amaze me with everything you can get there now apart from of course the last time I went and I had a two day overdue book and they charged me £1.40 ... outrageous!!

I need:
A new corset
New stockings
New shoes
to achieve all this I need a bloody job.

Laura still hasn't dropped my skirt round :( which I guess is a good thing in a way because when I do get it it's a new piece of clothings and thats something I won't be able to buy for a long time but I really want to wear it ... I think it'd be a nice skirt to wear to an interview if I ever get one.
& all the things I have for the charity shop need dropping off I did one lot yesterday but theres a few more pieces to go.

I also want to cut my fringe not in a point this time but more rounded so I might see if I can get that done later ... lets hope I actually like it or its going to take a while to grow out.
I feel I should throw a few pictures in because this is such a pictureless post it's odd

This is a pants suit that Dita's wearing but I think it'd look a lot nicer
as a dress and without all that frill at the top

One of Dita's Twitter pics of her evening Drindle when she was in Germany

And the next two are two of her hairstyles I would love to try
but will probably fail at

I found these two youtubes online while obsessivley watching Dita interviews, a lot of which were in French or German so it was hard to understand to say the least but she looked so pretty I couldn't stop watching.
