To DIE for

I must say I am IN LOVE with Christian Dior's new Fall 2009 Couture collection is is definatly Coture to DIE for. The netted skirts with opaque pannels are ingenious, the stockings on view looks classy not trashy against the raw silk in bright bold colours. I feel it's very 50's with a modern twist with an injection of Hollywood Glamour and Elegance!!

If only I could get my paws on one of the skirts, a jacket or just a headpiece maybe this is what I should focus on making over the summer a knock off cheap version of a beautiful classic coture piece.

I also feel the last outfit resembles the 1959 original Barbie who was the ultimate glamour girl.

Also Dita the woman I most admire was seen wearing this dress not so long ago that has the same kind of netted detail and revealing pannel idea to show off your undergarments. She is yet another fan of Dior but this dress was made by non other than Jean Paul Gaultier
